Casa Rocosa is a delightful townhouse situated high up overlooking the ancient town of Pollensa in northern Mallorca. Completely refurbished to a high standard, as soon as you set eyes on Casa Rocosa you know you are going to enjoy your stay here so much.
Two-storey Casa Rocosa nestles cosily in a quiet cul-de-sac offering all the peace and quiet you need. Constructed from traditional Mallorcan stone giving this beautiful townhouse strong hints of when an age of elegance in ruled in rustic Spain.
There is a lovely terraced garden with the most magnificent views overlooking the Tramuntana Mountains at Casa Rocosa. To be able to sit in the garden with a good book to read, drink in hand, is what a relaxing holiday in the sun is surely all about. (Try the locally produced Mallorcan wine, it`s superb!)
If the Mediterranean temperature rises, why not cool off in the delightful little private swimming pool further town the terrace? The views, once again, are fabulous.
Casa Rocosa itself has been thoroughly modernised to provide the highest standards of comfort you would expect.
As soon as you walk into the property your eyes focus on the lovely blend of whitewashed walls and chic, exposed stone.
The decor is rather easy on the eye too. A contemporary fusion of cool black and white colours throughout are interspersed with splashes of colour provided by textiles hand-woven locally. Chic ceramics and gorgeous glassware add to the feeling of luxury.
Casa Rocosa is as cosy as you like. All furnishings are attractively modern, and invitingly comfortable. (The ground floor has under-floor heating; upstairs you have radiators.)
The house is air conditioned throughout, keeping you comfortable during the hot weather. If the temperature drops, simply put the central heating on!
The star attraction on the ground floor is the beautifully appointed sitting room with lovely white designer furniture. Here you can relax in front of the large smart TV or simply log on via the WiFi connection.
This sitting room leads through to the kitchen/dining room which is a lovely place to congregate at the dining table for an evening meal. The kitchen naturally has all the latest appliances to make life easy.
You could, of course, dine al fresco in the lovely garden if you wish!
There is a downstairs loo with wash basin at Casa Rocosa, and upstairs guests benefit from two bedrooms, both featuring en suite bathrooms.
The large master bedroom is a delight. You`ll find a double bed, chest of drawers, armchair, wardrobe and writing bureau. Here you have open access to the lovely sunny terrace which also leads to the garden. The en suite bathroom features a full-length shower.
The second bedroom has twin beds, the en suite bathroom benefiting from a shower.
All in all, Casa Rocosa is a superb modernised traditional townhouse in historic Pollensa, one of Mallorca`s most attractive towns. There is on-street parking just outside the house. We strongly recommend early booking!

| We had a fantastic stay. We really enjoyed the property and loved Pollensa. The property listing was accurate. However there were a few things which could have been a bit better. Apart from Saucepans there were no ovenproof dishes, baking trays or dishes to serve food in. The shower in the main bedroom could do with updating as the shower head didn't work very well and the door doesn't close properly. The pool was also dirty when we arrived which was a shame. Despite these minor issues we would definitely recommend it to friends and would definitely come back. Pollenca was beautiful with fantastic cafés and restaurants on the doorstep. The Property manager was extremely helpful and sorted out a problem we had with the water and the wi Fi immediately. All in all we had a great holiday and enjoyed Pollenca and Casa Rocosa very much. Situated close to the centre of the town, beautifully furnished and suitable for a maximum of 4 adults
 
 One of the attractions of this magnificently restored town house is its location. A 45 minute ride from Palma airport takes you to the door of Can Aloy near the foot of the famous Calvary Steps, a stones’s throw from the 13 restaurants, cafes and bars in the main square and a short walk from shops, banks and the other local services. A simple transfer by taxi offers the opportunity for a relaxing week of luxury in one of the most beautiful towns on the island with everything on the doorstep.
 
 The interior is beautiful and features living quarters on the ground floor, 3 ensuite bedrooms upstairs and a pool on the secluded roof top terrace. The house is fully air conditioned (hot and cold) with smart-TV provided and Wi-Fi available throughout the property. The house is bright and airy, furnished to the highest standard, fully equipped with modern appliances and designed to offer a blend of luxury and comfort within a homely environment.
 
 At the front of the property is a large, open plan kitchen, fully fitted with all the latest appliances and a separate wine fridge. The attractive breakfast bar is the ideal place to start the day in style with a home-made coffee. This leads into a delightful open plan dining area which is a great place to relax and enjoy some home cooking.
 The whole area is bright with natural light provided by a glass-fronted atrium in the centre of the building - the perfect place to put your feet up and settle down with a good book. The ground floor also features a guest WC.
 The atrium also provides a natural break in the layout, which turns the cosy living room to the rear of the house into a quiet retreat with contemporary furniture and a large TV. In the corner of the room, a wood burning stove can be used in the winter if evenings get a bit chilly.
 
 Can Aloy is suitable for 4 adults in the utmost comfort in 3 en-suite bedrooms. Bedroom 1 is located on the second floor and features a cosy double bed and traditional wooden roof beams. Bedroom 2 is a double room on the first floor with large French windows welcoming in the soft Mediterranean light which can be set up as 2 singles. The bathroom of bedroom 2 has a large sunken bath while the other two bathrooms are fitted with spacious walk-in showers. Bedroom 3 is a double to the rear of the first floor looking out onto the atrium. A utility room provides washing and drying facilities as well as outdoor drinkware for the terrace.
 
 One of the main attractions of Can Aloy is the fabulous roof top terrace (4.25m x 2.40m) with 4 sunbeds. The pool (3.80m x 2.40m) is a salt based system and kinder on the skin and the environment. The terrace is secluded and overlooks the terracotta rooftops of the old town with views extending over the beautiful Tramuntana mountains. It is the perfect place for a late afternoon dip or pre-dinner cocktails as the sun goes down.
 
 If you are looking for a holiday home from home with access by foot to all essential facilities, Can Aloy fits the bill perfectly. The Sunday market in the square offers an excellent opportunity to stock up with fresh local produce. For those with a car, the streets around the house offer free parking.  Located a leisurely 500m from a wide array of restaurants, bars and shops, Can Cifre is perfect if you`re looking for a carefree, car free holiday in the north of the island.
 
 Cool, airy and spacious is the brief for the town house`s interior a modern renovation as bought old and new together, highlighting the house`s original sandstone structure with bright white colour scheme and simple, elegant furniture and, most importantly, terracotta tiling to keep the floors cool, even during the scorching summer!
 
 Downstairs Can Cifre has a large open living/dining area with English and German satellite TV channels. From the living room you can access the kitchen/diner and a bright enclosed patio with outdoor furniture perfect for enjoying a Mediterranean breakfast in the morning. Upstairs there are three bedrooms a master suite with a double bedroom and en suite bathroom with standing shower, and two twin bedrooms which share the second upstairs bathroom.
