Mallorca welcomes sports people from all over the world, many of whom visit regularly to train or relax before their competitions. Cyclists particularly relish the landscape and conditions with the magnificent Tramuntana mountains offering the ultimate challenge. Why not take advantage of the off-peak seasons when the island is quieter with less traffic and milder weather.

Many of our luxury holiday villas for cyclists in Mallorca have been specially adapted with areas for safely and securely storing valuable equipment. Apart from important lock-up facilities, these villas have areas where you can carry out essential repairs and cleaning stations where you can remove dirt without making a mess of the garden or terrace.

The north of Mallorca is easily accessible and a popular region with cyclists and sports people from all walks of life. We listen carefully to our clients’ needs and are happy to hear suggestions for improving our service or facilities, after all, we want your holiday to be so enjoyable that you´ll want to come back and do it again.

Why cyclists love Mallorca

  • Classic climbs: the road to Sa Calobra climbs about 9.5 km at an average of around 7%, and the Coll de Femenia takes you from Pollensa up towards Lluc in the heart of the Tramuntana.
  • Coastal rides: the road from Puerto Pollensa to the Formentor lighthouse is around 20 km each way, with some of the best views on the island.
  • Flat training: the plains around Alcudia, Muro and Sa Pobla are perfect for recovery rides and long, steady kilometres.
  • Season: from February to May and again from September to November the weather is mild and the roads are quiet. Many professional teams hold their winter training camps on the island.

The north of the island is a classic cycling base: from Pollensa and Alcudia you can reach the mountains, the coast and the plains straight from your villa. Read our guide to cycling in Mallorca.
